  1. Senior Software Engineer, Software Updates

    Ford Motor CompanyRemote

    I lead development of complex, stateful features for the in-vehicle Software Updates experience, deployed to 1M+ vehicles worldwide. I write the documentation for our features and shape their test strategies. I work with Product, Design, Backend, and QA from planning through release, so everyone shares the same picture of what a feature depends on and what it needs from other teams. I'm also the technical owner of an internal observability platform, used organization-wide to track platform stability and performance. Beyond my technical work, I advocated for bringing engineering into feature planning earlier, which reduced late-stage rework. I also mentor engineers at all levels and represented my team in technical demos for other teams.

  2. Software Engineer, Software Updates

    I joined the Software Updates team and shipped features that had to work within backend constraints, working with Product, Design, QA, and Backend along the way. Over time I moved from building features to changing how we build them. I led the migration from Redux and class components to custom hooks and functional React, raised test coverage to 80%+, and conducted regular reviews of designs in Figma against the implemented UI to ensure adherance to Ford's design language.

  3. Frontend Engineer, UX and Design Systems

    Bell CanadaRemote

    I was a hybrid engineer-designer in a UX design team, turning user research and Figma prototypes into production apps. I built a Storybook component library with accessibility standards built in, and worked on a range of internal tools, including a mobile web app for field technicians and a capital forecasting dashboard.
